Mini Cheese Tart Recipe
Tart Shell
Ingredients:
250g butter
120g icing sugar
1 egg yolk
350g plain flour
1 tsp vanilla essence
Steps:
1. Beat butter + icing sugar until creamy.
2. Add egg yolk + vanilla, mix well.
3. Add flour bit by bit, mix until soft dough forms.
4. Press dough into tart moulds (not too thick).
5. Bake at 170°C for 15 minutes (until light golden). Let it cool.
Cheese Filling
Ingredients:
250g cream cheese (softened)
60g icing sugar
100ml whipping cream (cold)
1 egg (medium)
½ tsp vanilla essence
Steps:
1. Beat cream cheese + icing sugar until smooth.
2. Add egg + vanilla, mix well.
3. Add whipping cream gradually, continue mixing until creamy.
4. Fill into cooled tart shells.
5. Bake again at 150°C for 10 to 15minutes
