Biskut Marble Recipe (about 50 pcs)
Ingredients
250g unsalted butter (softened)
150g icing sugar (sifted)
1 egg yolk
1 tsp vanilla essence
300g plain flour (sifted)
2 tbsp cocoa powder (mixed with 2 tbsp hot water into paste)
Method
1. Beat butter + icing sugar until light and fluffy.
2. Add egg yolk + vanilla, mix well.
3. Fold in flour gradually until soft dough forms.
4. Divide dough into 2 portions →
One plain (vanilla)
One mixed with cocoa paste (chocolate).
5. Take small bits from each dough, press together lightly to form a marble effect.
6. Roll into small balls and arrange on lined tray.
7. Bake at 160°C for 15–20 mins until lightly golden at the base.
8. Cool completely before storing in airtight containers.
Don’t overmix chocolate & vanilla dough, or the marble pattern won’t be clear.
