Biskut Sarang Semut Recipe (about 60 pcs)

Ingredients
250g unsalted butter (softened)
150g icing sugar (sifted)
1 egg yolk
1 tsp vanilla essence
250g plain flour (sifted)
100g cornflour (sifted)
1 tsp baking powder
50g chocolate rice (optional, for extra texture)
Colorful sprinkles (for topping)

Method
1. Cream butter + sugar until fluffy.
2. Add egg yolk + vanilla, mix well.
3. Fold in plain flour, cornflour, and baking powder until dough forms.
4. Grate the dough using a coarse grater (looks like thin “noodles”).
5. Fill small paper cups with the grated dough (like tiny nests).
6. Sprinkle chocolate rice or rainbow sprinkles on top.
7. Bake at 160°C for 15–18 mins until set but still pale.
8. Cool completely before storing in airtight containers.
