An edible chocolate cauldron bubbling with minty-cherry magic.
Ingredients (6 servings)
Chocolate Cauldrons
• 8 oz (225 g) dark chocolate, melted
• Silicone half-sphere molds (3-inch)
Chocolate Mousse
• 4 oz (115 g) dark chocolate
• 2 eggs, separated
• 2 tbsp sugar
• 1 cup (240 mL) heavy cream
Black Cherry Compote
• 1 cup (150 g) frozen cherries
• 2 tbsp sugar
• 1 tsp lemon juice
Mint Whipped Cream
• ½ cup (120 mL) heavy cream
• 1 tbsp sugar
• ¼ tsp mint extract
• Green food coloring
Decoration
• Popping candy
• Sugar shard spoon (optional)
Instructions
1. Make cauldrons: Brush melted chocolate in molds, join halves, trim to open top.
2. Mousse: Melt chocolate, fold into whipped yolks, whites, and cream. Chill.
3. Compote: Cook cherries, sugar, lemon juice until thick.
4. Mint cream: Whip cream, sugar, mint extract + coloring.
5. Assemble: Fill cauldron with mousse → cherry compote → green whipped cream.
6. Finish: Sprinkle popping candy + add sugar spoon.
