Pumpkin Patch Cream Puffs π
Little choux puffs turned into a whole pumpkin patch!
Ingredients (12 puffs)
Choux Pastry
β’ Β½ cup (120 mL) water
β’ Β½ cup (120 mL) milk
β’ Β½ cup (115 g) butter
β’ 1 cup (125 g) flour
β’ 4 eggs
Pumpkin Spice Cream Filling
β’ 1 Β½ cups (360 mL) milk
β’ 3 egg yolks
β’ β
cup (70 g) sugar
β’ 2 tbsp cornstarch
β’ Spices: cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, allspice
β’ 1 tsp vanilla
β’ 1 tbsp butter
Glaze + Decoration
β’ 1 cup powdered sugar
β’ 2 tbsp milk
β’ Orange food coloring
β’ Green fondant stems/vines
β’ Crushed Oreos for βsoilβ
Instructions
1. Make choux: Boil water, milk, butter β add flour β beat in eggs. Bake 400Β°F for 20β25 min.
2. Cream filling: Cook milk, yolks, sugar, cornstarch + spices. Chill.
3. Fill: Pipe cream into puffs.
4. Glaze: Dip tops in orange glaze.
5. Decorate: Add fondant stems, vines + cookie soil.
