Cinnamon Roll Recipe
Ingredients (Dough):
4 cups all-purpose flour
¼ cup sugar
1 packet (7g) instant yeast
1 cup warm milk
⅓ cup unsalted butter (softened)
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
Ingredients (Filling):
½ cup brown sugar
2 tbsp cinnamon powder
⅓ cup unsalted butter (softened)
Ingredients (Glaze/Frosting):
1 cup icing sugar
2–3 tbsp milk
(Optional) Cream cheese frosting for richer taste
Steps:
1. Make Dough
Mix warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit 5 mins until foamy.
Add butter, eggs, salt, and flour. Knead until smooth (8–10 mins).
Cover and let rise 1–1.5 hours until doubled.
2. Prepare Filling
Mix brown sugar + cinnamon.
Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread butter, then sprinkle filling.
3. Shape Rolls
Roll up tightly into a log, slice into 12 pieces.
Place in greased baking pan, cover, and let rise 30–40 mins.
Bake at 175°C for 20–25 mins until golden brown.
Mix icing sugar + milk, drizzle over warm rolls.
(Optional) Spread cream cheese frosting for extra richness.
