Kuih Bakar Pandan Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
4 large eggs
2 cups coconut milk
1 cup pandan juice (blend pandan leaves with water, strain)
¼ tsp salt
2 tbsp sesame seeds (for topping)
Steps:
1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease a round or flower-shaped kuih mold with a little oil/butter.
2. In a bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until dissolved.
3. Add flour, salt, coconut milk, and pandan juice. Mix until smooth.
4. Strain batter for a silky texture.
5. Pour into mold, sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
6. Bake for 45–55 mins until the top is golden brown and slightly burnt edges form.
7. Cool completely before slicing into wedges.
