Florentine Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
200g mixed nuts & seeds (almond flakes, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds – mix as you like)
100g Florentine premix flour (usually sold in baking shops)
20g butter (optional, for extra crisp)
Instructions
1. Prepare tray: Line a baking tray with parchment paper or use a silicone mat.
2. Mix: In a bowl, combine nuts, seeds, and Florentine premix. (Add melted butter if using).
3. Spread: Pour mixture onto tray and spread evenly into a thin layer.
4. Bake: Preheat oven to 160°C. Bake for 8–12 minutes, until golden brown.
5. Cut: While still warm, use a sharp knife/pizza cutter to cut into squares/rectangles.
6. Cool & store: Let cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
