Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:
2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
¾ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
Cream Butter and Sugars: In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add Eggs and Vanilla: Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
Combine: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
Shape Cookies: Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake: Bake for 9–11 minutes, or until the edges are golden but centers remain soft.
Cool: Let cookies cool on the sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
