Kulcha Recipe (No Oven)

Ingredients:

Flour – 3 cups

Milk – ½ cup (slightly warm)

Yogurt – ½ cup

Baking powder – 1 tablespoon

Baking soda – ½ teaspoon

Sugar – 1 tablespoon

Salt – 1 teaspoon

Oil or ghee – 3 tablespoons

Water – as required

Method:

1. In a bowl, add flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar and salt and mix well.

2. Add yogurt, milk and oil to it and knead a soft dough.

3. Knead the dough
Cover and keep it for 2 hours to rise.

‎4. Now make dough balls and roll them (do not make them too thin).

‎5. Heat the tawa on medium flame, place the rolled out kulcha.

‎6. Flip it when it turns light brown on one side.

‎7. Cook well on both sides, apply a little ghee/butter if desired.

‎8. Hot tandoori style kulcha is ready.

‎Presentation:

‎Serve the kulcha with chickpeas, qurma or kebabs.
