🧁 Ingredients
For the Cake Layers

For the Ganache
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 8 oz dark chocolate (chips or chopped bar)
• 1 tbsp butter
For Decoration
• Fresh raspberries (to resemble Demogorgon “blooms”)
• Melted dark chocolate (to pipe “vines/tentacles”)
• Raspberry sauce (to mimic eerie Upside Down ooze
🍰 Directions
1. Bake the Cakes
• Prepare the red velvet and dark chocolate cakes in separate pans according to package or recipe instructions.
• Allow them to cool completely, then cut into squares or circles.
2. Make the Ganache
• Heat heavy cream until just simmering.
• Pour over dark chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl. Let sit 5 minutes, then whisk until smooth and glossy.
3. Assemble the Dessert
• Place a red velvet layer on the bottom, top with chocolate cake, then drizzle generously with ganache so it drips over the sides like creeping shadows.
4. Add the Upside Down Details
• Pipe melted chocolate onto parchment in twisted, root-like vine shapes. Let them harden, then insert into the cake.
• Spoon raspberry sauce around the plate as a “blood-red” pool.
• Top with fresh raspberries as the Demogorgon buds.
