    📝 Ingredients (8 servings):
    • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
    • ¼ tsp salt
    • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
    • ¾ cup sugar
    • 2 large eggs
    • ½ cup heavy cream or sour cream
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and chopped
    • 1–2 tbsp powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)



    🔥 Instructions:
    1. Preheat oven to 350°F / 175°C. Line an 8-inch round cake pan with parchment.
    2. Mix dry ingredients:
    Combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
    3. Cream butter and sugar:
    Beat butter and sugar until light. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in cream and vanilla.
    4. Combine & fold:
    Add dry ingredients into wet, mixing gently. Fold in peaches (save a few slices for topping).
    5. Bake rustic:
    Pour into pan, scatter remaining peach slices on top. Bake 40–50 min, until golden and cracked.
    6. Cool & serve:
    Dust lightly with powdered sugar if you like. Cut a big, uneven slice. Let crumbs fall.
