Ingredients (Makes 9–12 brownies): • ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter • 200g dark chocolate, chopped • 1 cup (200g) sugar • 2 large eggs • 1 tsp vanilla extract • ¾ cup (95g) all-purpose flour • 2 tbsp cocoa powder • ¼ tsp salt • 1 cup fresh or frozen cherries, pitted and halved
Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment. 2. Melt butter and chocolate over low heat, stirring until smooth. 3. Remove from heat, whisk in sugar, then eggs one at a time, then vanilla. 4. Fold in flour, cocoa, and salt until just combined. Gently stir in cherries. 5. Spread into pan without smoothing too much. Bake 25–30 min until set at edges but slightly soft in the center. 6. Cool completely before slicing — or slice warm for gooey, messy brownies.
