🍖 Sticky BBQ Chicken Drumsticks with Apple Cider Glaze

Ingredients (serves 4):
For the chicken: • 8 chicken drumsticks • 1 tbsp olive oil • 1 tsp smoked paprika • 1 tsp garlic powder • Salt & pepper to taste
For the BBQ glaze: • ½ cup (120ml) barbecue sauce (your favorite kind) • ¼ cup (60ml) apple cider or apple juice • 1 tbsp honey • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar • 1 tsp Dijon mustard • Pinch of chili flakes (optional)
To serve: • Fresh parsley, chopped • Extra glaze on the side

Instructions: 1. Preheat oven: Heat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking tray with foil and lightly grease. 2. Season the drumsticks: Rub chicken with oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Bake for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and cooked through. 3. Make the glaze: While the chicken bakes, combine BBQ sauce, apple cider, honey, vinegar, mustard, and chili flakes in a saucepan. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened. 4. Glaze & finish: Brush baked chicken with the glaze. Return to oven under the broiler for 3–4 minutes until caramelized and sticky. 5. Serve: Garnish with parsley and serve with extra glaze.
