    Ingredients:

    • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (sunflower or canola)
    • 1¼ cups (250g) white sugar
    • 2 large eggs

    • ⅓ cup (45g) all-purpose flour
    • ½ cup (50g) unsweetened cocoa powder
    • ¼ teaspoon salt
    • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
    • 6 oz (170g) halal dark or milk chocolate, chopped
    • ½ cup (90g) halal chocolate chips

    Instructions:
    1. Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease or line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
    2. Melt the butter in a saucepan or microwave. Stir in oil and sugar until well combined.
    3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, and whisk until smooth and shiny.
    4. In a separate bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, salt, and cornstarch.
    5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
    6. Fold in chopped chocolate and chocolate chips.
    7. Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
    8. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until the top is set but still slightly soft in the center.
    9. Let it cool completely before cutting into squares.

    Tips:
    • Use certified halal chocolate brands (e.g., Lindt, Galaxy, or any halal-marked brand).
    • Don’t overbake to keep the brownies fudgy.
