    1 small onion, finely diced

    1 lb (450g) ground beef

    1 tsp salt

    ½ tsp black pepper

    1 tsp paprika

    ½ tsp garlic powder

    ½ tsp onion powder

    2 tbsp tomato paste or ¼ cup beef broth (optional, for juiciness)

    1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

    For Cooking:

    2–3 tbsp oil or butter (for frying)

    ✅ Instructions:

    1. Prepare the Potato Dough

    1. In a large bowl, combine:

    mashed potatoes

    egg

    flour

    salt and pepper

    2. Mix until a soft dough forms.

    3. Dust your hands with flour — dough will be slightly sticky (this is good!).

    2. Make the Meat Filling

    1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.

    2. Add the diced onion and cook until soft.

    3. Add ground beef and cook until browned.

    4. Season with:

    salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder

    5. Stir in tomato paste or beef broth for a juicy texture.

    6. Add parsley.

    7. Let the filling cool completely before stuffing.

    3. Assemble the Pancakes

    1. Take a small ball of potato dough (about the size of a golf ball).

    2. Flatten it gently into a round patty.

    3. Add 1–2 tablespoons of the meat filling in the center.

    4. Fold edges over the filling and seal tightly.

    5. Flatten gently into a thick pancake.
