🍏 Apple Pie Biscuits
Ingredients
1 can buttermilk biscuits
1 can apple pie filling
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp vanilla extract
For Icing:
1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
1 tbsp milk
Instructions
1. Prepare Pan
Lightly grease a baking pan or skillet.
2. Mix Coating
In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
3. Coat Biscuits
Dip each biscuit in the melted butter.
Roll and coat all sides with the sugar mixture.
Arrange the coated biscuits evenly in the prepared pan.
4. Prepare Filling
Chop the apple pie filling into smaller pieces.
Stir in the vanilla extract.
5. Assemble
Spread the apple mixture over the arranged biscuits.
Sprinkle any remaining sugar mixture on top.
Drizzle with the rest of the melted butter.
6. Bake
Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 35 minutes or until golden brown and bubbling.
7. Icing
Mix confectioners’ sugar with milk until smooth.
Drizzle over the warm biscuits.
8. Serve
Serve warm and enjoy!
