🛒 Ingredients:

3 lbs chicken pieces (drumsticks, thighs, breasts)

2 cups buttermilk

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Vegetable oil for frying

👩‍🍳 Directions:

Preheat oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350°F (175°C).

Soak the chicken in buttermilk for at least 1 hour (or overnight in the fridge for extra tenderness).

Mix flour and spices in a large bowl: paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper.

Dredge the chicken pieces in the seasoned flour, pressing the flour onto the chicken to coat well.

Fry in batches for about 12–15 minutes, turning halfway, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp should be 165°F/74°C).

Drain on a rack or paper towels. Let it rest a few minutes before serving to keep the crust crispy!
