Juicy Turkey Burger Recipe
Ingredients:
• 1 pound ground turkey
• 1/4 cup bread crumbs
• 1 egg
• 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
• 1 clove garlic, minced
• 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• Burger buns
• Toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, red onion, cheese, condiments of your choice
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, bread crumbs, egg, chopped onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined; avoid over-mixing to keep the burgers tender.
2. Shape the mixture into four equal patties, ensuring they are slightly larger than your buns as they will shrink a bit while cooking.
3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the turkey patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the turkey is fully cooked.
4. If you like your cheese melted, add a slice of cheese on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking and cover the skillet to let the cheese melt.
5. Toast the burger buns lightly, if desired.
6. Place each turkey patty on a bun and top with lettuce, tomato, onion, or any of your favorite toppings and condiments.
7. Serve immediately
