STEAK & CHORIZO PASTA WITH TOMATO & CHILLI 🌢️

πŸ›’ WHAT DO YOU NEED
β€’ 250g dried pasta (mafalda, rigatoni or penne)
β€’ 200g @quorn_uk Steak Strips
β€’ 100g @squeakybeanveg Chorizo, diced
β€’ 1 tbsp oil (use some of the oil from the sun-dried tomato jar)
β€’ 2 garlic cloves, minced
β€’ 75g sun dried tomatoes, sliced
β€’ 1 jar @heinz_uk Tomato & Chilli Pasta Sauce
β€’ Β½ tsp chilli flakes (optional)
β€’ 50ml double cream (optional, for a silky finish)
β€’ 30g grated Parmesan or vegetarian hard cheese
β€’ Salt & black pepper
β€’ Fresh parsley, chopped

πŸ‘©β€πŸ³ LETS COOK
Cook pasta in well salted boiling water. Reserve 100ml pasta water before draining
Heat the oil in a large pan.
Add Quorn strips and cook 4–5 minutes until golden.
Add chorizo pieces and cook another 2–3 minutes.
Stir in garlic and cook 30 seconds.
Add the sliced sun dried tomatoes and let them sizzle for 1–2 minutes to release their oils.
Pour in the Heinz Tomato & Chilli sauce and chilli flakes.
Simmer for 4–5 minutes.
Stir in cream (if using) and Parmesan.
Add a splash of pasta water until glossy and silky.
Toss pasta through until fully coated.
Finish
Season well and top with parsley + extra cheese.
