Creamy Peri Peri Chicken Wrap
Ingredients:
Chicken breast β 500 g (thin strips)
Peri Peri sauce β 4 tbsp
Yogurt β 2 tbsp
Mayonnaise β 3 tbsp
Fresh cream β 2 tbsp
Garlic paste β 1 tsp
Salt β to taste
Black pepper β Β½ tsp
Red chili flakes β Β½ tsp
Lemon juice β 1 tbsp
Lettuce β shredded
Onion β thinly sliced
Tomato β thin slices
Tortilla wraps β 4
Method:
1. Marinate chicken: Mix chicken with peri peri sauce, yogurt, garlic paste, salt, pepper, chili flakes, and lemon juice. Let it rest 30 minutes.
2. Cook chicken: Grill or pan-fry until tender and slightly charred.
3. Prepare sauce: Mix mayonnaise and cream with a little peri peri sauce for a creamy spread.
4. Assemble wraps: Warm tortillas, spread creamy sauce, add lettuce, onion, tomato, and chicken.
5. Roll & Serve: Fold tightly, cut in half, and serve warm with extra peri peri dip.
