Ingredients:

2 slices rustic sourdough bread (or ciabatta, toasted)

1 ball fresh burrata cheese (about 4 oz), torn into pieces

1–2 ripe heirloom tomatoes, thickly sliced

1- medium avocado, thinly sliced.

1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

1 tsp balsamic glaze (optional, for drizzling)

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Sea salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions:

Toast the Bread: Lightly toast the sourdough slices until golden and crisp.

Layer with Tomatoes: Arrange the thick slices of ripe heirloom tomato on each piece of bread. Season with sea salt and black pepper.

Add Burrata: Tear the burrata into chunks and place generously on top of the tomatoes.

Drizzle & Garnish: Drizzle with olive oil (and balsamic glaze if using). Scatter fresh basil leaves across the top for a burst of freshness.

Serve: Enjoy immediately while the bread is still warm and crisp.
