Ingredients:
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
6. Fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
7. Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
8. Bake for 9–11 minutes, until edges are golden brown but centers are still soft.
9. Let cookies cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.
