1 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled 🧈
1 cup brown sugar 🍬
1/2 cup granulated sugar 🍬
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 🌿
2 large eggs, at room temperature 🥚
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted 🧈
1/2 cup granulated sugar 🍬
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 🌿

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Prepare the apple pie filling by melting 2 tablespoons of butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the sliced apples, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, and 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon. Cook, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens and apples are tender, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool completely. 🍏
2. Make the salted caramel sauce by placing 1/2 cup granulated sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir occasionally as the sugar melts and turns amber in color. Remove from heat and carefully stir in the cubed 2 tablespoons butter until melted. Slowly pour in 1/4 cup heavy cream while stirring, then add 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. 6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
