Seedy Flapjacks Recipe: Vegan Oat Bars with Pumpkin, Sunflower and Sesame Seeds
SEEDY FLAPJACKS ๐
Iโve been meaning to make flapjacks for ages and am so glad I finally got around to it m, using my latest order from @healthysupplies. These seedy flapjacks were amazing - thereโs something about toasted seeds and Iโm definitely adding them to my make again list ๐๐ฏ๐
Seedy Flapjacks
Ingredients
125g plantbased butter
125g light brown or muscavado sugar
3 tbspn golden syrup
250g rolled oats
100g mixed seeds (I used pumpkin, sunflower and sesame) or have 50g seeds and 50g dried apricots
Method
- preheat the oven to 180* (160* fan/gas mark 4)
- Place the butter, sugar and golden syrup into a large saucepan and heat gently until melted
- Add all of the other ingredients and stir to combine
- Tip the mixture into a lined 20cm baking tin and press down with the back of a spoon
- Bake for 25-39 minutes until golden and leave to cool slightly
- Cut into squares and leave to cool completely before storing in a pretty tin
- Enjoy
