β¨Iβve said it before and Iβll say it again, anything roasted in miso butter is next level!
Have you tried roasting radishes?
When eaten raw they can have a delicious peppery bite but when roasted they become these sweet succulent little gems!
This recipe is easy and will change the way you think about a radish so I hope you give it a try!
ππ»π΄πΏπ²π±πΆπ²π»ππ:
24 oz (640g) Radishes (I used Easter Egg)
2 1/2 Tbsp (37.5g) Vegan Butter
1 1/2 Tbsp (22.5g) Miso Paste
1 tsp (5ml) Toasted Sesame Oil
1 tsp (5ml) Soy Sauce
2 tsp (10ml) Mirin
2 tsp (10ml) Rice Vinegar
1 tsp (5g) Garlic Powder
Salt & Pepper to taste
Green onion sliced
Sesame Seeds for garnish
ππΆπΏπ²π°ππΆπΌπ»π:
1. Prep the radishes by giving them a good wash and trimming away any roots or greens. Cut them into halves and larger ones into quarters.
2.Melt the butter and whisk it together with the miso paste, sesame oil, soy sauce, mirin, rice vinegar, garlic powder, salt & pepper.
3. Toss the radishes with the miso butter mixture and place them in one single layer onto a baking sheet or large baking dish.
4. Bake at 400 for 10 minutes, flip and continue roasting for another 10 - 15 minutes or until nicely browned.
5. Serve garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
