Garlic Butter Surf & Turf Delight with Lemon Zest

Seared Steak & Garlic Shrimp Scampi
Ingredients (serves 2):
2 (200g each) sirloin steaks
250g large shrimp, peeled & deveined
4 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup dry white wine
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1 tsp chopped fresh rosemary
Salt and pepper to taste
Red pepper flakes (optional)

Recipe:

Season steaks with salt, pepper & rosemary. Sear in olive oil until desired doneness. Rest and slice.
Melt butter in the same pan. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Add shrimp and cook until pink. Deglaze with white wine.
Stir in lemon juice, parsley, and red pepper flakes (if using). Season with salt and pepper.
Serve steak with shrimp and sauce spooned over.
