Garlic Shrimp & Filet Mignon with Creamy Wine Sauce

  • Seared Filet Mignon with Garlic Shrimp & Creamy Sauce
    Ingredients:

    2 (150g) Filet Mignon steaks

    250g large shrimp, peeled and deveined

    3 tbsp butter

    2 cloves garlic, minced

    1/2 cup heavy cream

    1/4 cup dry white wine (optional)

    1 tbsp olive oil

    Salt and pepper to taste

    Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

    Recipe:

    Season steaks generously with salt and pepper.

    Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat. Sear steaks for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare. Remove and rest.

    Melt butter in the same skillet. Add garlic and shrimp, sauté until pink and cooked through.

    Deglaze the pan with white wine (if using), scraping up any browned bits.

    Stir in heavy cream and reduce until slightly thickened.

    Plate steaks, top with shrimp and sauce. Garnish with parsley.
