Crispy Whole Fried Red Snapper with Tostones & Salad Ingredients:
1 whole red snapper (approx. 700g) 2 limes, sliced 1 green plantain (approx. 200g), sliced for tostones 1/2 cup shredded lettuce 1/4 cup diced tomatoes 1/4 cup diced onion Vegetable oil for frying Salt and pepper to taste
Recipe:
Season the snapper with salt and pepper.
Heat oil in a large pan. Fry snapper until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per side.
Fry plantain slices twice for tostones.
Combine lettuce, tomatoes, and onion for a simple salad.
Serve snapper with tostones, salad, and lime wedges.
