    Ingredients:
    4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
    Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
    1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or a cheese of your choice)
    1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped (optional)
    Instructions:
    Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Prepare Chicken: Butterfly the chicken breasts by slicing into the long side of the breast, stopping just about a half-inch from the opposite side. Open up the breasts and lay them out flat like an open book.

    Season: Season the inside of each chicken breast with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.

    Add Fillings: Lay down 3-4 stalks of asparagus in the center of each chicken breast, add sun-dried tomatoes if using, and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.

    Fold Chicken: Close the chicken breast over the asparagus and cheese, pressing lightly to compact.

    Secure: You can use toothpicks to secure the chicken if necessary.

    Cook Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large, oven-proof skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

    Bake: Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the middle.

    Serve: Remove from the oven, let rest for a few minutes, and remove toothpicks (if used) before serving.
