Ingredients For the chicken: 2 chicken breasts (cut into strips or cubes) 1 tbsp oil or butter 1 tsp garlic paste 1 tsp paprika ½ tsp chilli powder (optional) ½ tsp black pepper ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste) 1 tsp lemon juice
Garlic sauce: 2 tbsp mayonnaise 1 tbsp plain yoghurt or sour cream 1 tsp garlic paste 1 tsp lemon juice Pinch of salt & pepper Wrap assembly: 4 tortillas or roti wraps 1 cup grated mozzarella or cheddar Lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes (optional) Extra garlic butter (1 tbsp melted butter + ½ tsp garlic) Method 1. Cook the chicken Heat oil/butter in a pan. Add garlic paste and cook for 30 seconds. Add chicken, paprika, chilli powder, black pepper, salt, and lemon juice. Cook until the chicken is tender and slightly golden. Remove from heat.
2. Make the garlic sauce Mix mayonnaise, yoghurt, garlic paste, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Set aside. 3. Assemble the wraps Warm each wrap lightly in a pan.
Brush with a little garlic butter for extra flavour.
Add a spoon of garlic sauce.
Add cooked chicken pieces.
Add grated cheese (be generous so it melts nicely).
Add lettuce, cucumber, or tomato if you like.
4. Toast the wraps Fold the wrap tightly.
Place in a clean pan, pressing lightly until the cheese melts and the wrap is golden on both sides.
