    For Peri Peri Marinade:
    Red chillies (fresh or dry) – 6–8 (adjust spice level)
    Garlic – 6–8 cloves
    Red bell pepper – 1 (roasted or fresh)
    Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
    Vinegar – 1 tbsp
    Paprika – 1 tsp
    Smoked paprika (optional) – ½ tsp
    Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
    Salt – to taste
    Black pepper – ½ tsp
    Olive oil – 3 tbsp
    For Chicken:
    Chicken (whole, cut into pieces or boneless thighs) – 1 kg
    Butter – 1 tbsp (for basting)

    Method:
    Make the Peri Peri Sauce:
    Blend red chillies, garlic, bell pepper, lemon juice, vinegar, paprika, salt, pepper, and olive oil into a smooth paste.

    Marinate the Chicken:
    Coat chicken evenly with the peri peri marinade.
    Let it rest for at least 2 hours (overnight for best flavor).

    Cooking Options:
    Grill: Grill on a barbecue or grill pan till golden and cooked through, basting with butter occasionally.

    Oven: Preheat oven to 200°C and bake for 30–35 minutes, flipping halfway.
    Pan Fry: Cook on medium heat in a non-stick pan, turning until evenly browned and cooked.

    Final Touch:
    Brush some leftover peri peri sauce and butter on top for extra shine and spice.

    Serving Suggestion:
    Serve hot with fries, coleslaw, or garlic rice and a squeeze of lemon 🧈🍋
