When the boys are away, girls will eat pasta and drink wine π·ππ¦
This prawn and chorizo pasta was delish! You all know that pasta is my go to meal. I could eat it all day everyday!
ππ»π΄πΏπ²π±πΆπ²π»ππ (serves 2)
β’ 1/2 white onion, diced
β’ 1 orange pepper, diced
β’ splash of oil
β’ 70g chorizo
β’ 150g cooked prawns
β’ 3tbsp tomato purΓ©
β’ 1tsp @verylazyfooduk garlic
β’ 1/2 tsp paprika
β’ 1/2 tap chilli flakes
β’ bunch chopped fresh parsley
β’ 120g creme fraiche
β’ 150g pasta
β’ 10g parmesan
π π²ππ΅πΌπ±
1. Add your sliced chorizo to a pan with a splash of oil and cook until it starts to go crispy. Then remove from the pan. At the same time put your pasta onto boil.
2. Add in the onion and pepper to the same pan you cooked the chorizo in and cook until the veg starts to soften.
3. Next add in the garlic, parsley, chilli flakes, paprika and tomato purΓ© and cook for a further minute. Add the cooked chorizo and prawns back in.
4. Add in the creme fraiche and a spoon of pasta water. Stir until you get a sauce. I also added in some parmesan.
5. Finally mix together the pasta and sauce then serve with garlic bread and salad.
