(Soft in the middle, cracked at the edges — cookies with a calm, wild twist.)
These aren’t your usual cookies. They’re infused with dried lavender and loaded with pockets of melted white chocolate. Uneven, golden, and fragrant — baked like you mean it, not like you staged it.
⸻
📝 Ingredients (makes 10–12 cookies): • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened • ½ cup sugar • 1 egg • 1 tsp vanilla extract • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour • ½ tsp baking soda • ¼ tsp salt • 1 ½ tsp dried edible lavender • ¾ cup white chocolate chunks (melted or uneven is perfect)
⸻
🔥 Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 350°F / 175°C. Line a baking tray with parchment. 2. Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla and beat until smooth. 3. Stir in dry ingredients: Mix in flour, baking soda, salt, lavender, and finally fold in the white chocolate. 4. Scoop and shape imperfectly: Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the tray. Don’t flatten. Let them bake into their own shape. 5. Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are golden and centers are soft. Cool slightly on tray.
