    These aren’t your average steak cubes. They’re seared to perfection and tossed in a rich Thai-style sauce made from coconut milk, lime, peanut butter, and chili. Messy, complex, and packed with layers of flavor. You’ll need a napkin — and maybe seconds.



    📝 Ingredients (serves 2–3):

    For the steak:
    • 300–400g beef steak (ribeye or sirloin), cut into chunky cubes
    • Salt & pepper
    • 1 tbsp oil
    • 1 tbsp butter

    For the sauce:
    • ½ cup coconut milk
    • 2 tbsp peanut butter (smooth or chunky)
    • 1 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp lime juice
    • 1 tsp lime zest
    • 1 garlic clove, minced
    • 1 tsp grated ginger
    • ½–1 tsp chili flakes (to taste)
    • Optional: 1 tsp brown sugar or honey



    🔥 Instructions:
    1. Sear the steak:
    Season steak cubes with salt and pepper. Sear in a hot pan with oil until browned on all sides. Add butter at the end and spoon over the meat. Remove and set aside.
    2. Make the sauce:
    In the same pan (wipe it if needed), combine coconut milk, peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, zest, garlic, ginger, and chili flakes. Simmer over low heat until thick, creamy, and slightly sticky (5–6 minutes). Adjust sweetness if needed.
    3. Coat & finish:
    Return steak to the pan or spoon sauce over it on a plate. Let some sauce drip and pool.
