4 shanks of lamb 1 bottle of Greek/French salad dressing 3 lemons, cut into quarters 1 onion, cut into quarters 2 whole garlic balls, halved 2 packets of fresh origanum 2 bunches of fresh rosemary Salt and pepper, to taste
Place the lamb in an oven casserole and pour the salad sauce over.
Add the lemon, onion, garlic and fresh herbs and season with salt and pepper.
Put the lid on or close with foil and place in the oven at 160oC for 3-31⁄2 hours. Served with mashed potatoes or corn rice.
