    Butter Chicken
    •Chicken marination●●● Youll need 500gms medim sized chicken pieces....washed and strained well-
    To a bowl add salt,chilli powder,half a tsp cummin powder,half a tsp of pepper,half a tsp of Ajwain (carrom seeds) quarter tsp garam masala,half a tsp of kasuri methi, half a 2 tbs curd,1 tbs oil..2 tbs ginger garlic paste, a handful of corriander leaves and mint leaves finely chopped (I made it into a paste with ginger garlic) lime juice from half a lime(adjust according to taste)
    Mix all these ingredients to a paste, check salt and adjust if needed, add in the chicken pieces, coat the chicken pieces well with marination...and leave it to marinate for at least 6 hrs in the fridge or overnight for more flavour....
    Should be in room temperature when going to cook...
    For the gravy
    •2 onions sliced
    •1 tbs ginger garlic paste
    •2 green chillies slitted
    •10 cashews soaked for at least an hour...will need the soaked cashew water as well
    •500g tomatoes cut in cubes (use ripe red tomatoes)
    •1 tsp Cummin seeds
    •Salt
    •Chilli powder to taste
    • A tsp Kashmiri chilli powder (you can do without this but this takes the butter chicken to a whole new level)
    •A tsp of dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi another game changer)
    •1 tbs vinegar
    •2 to 3 tbs of cream (Homemade cream recipe in comments)
    •Butter
    •Oil
