I had 2 overripe bananas, but I didn’t want to make ANOTHER banana bread. (But deep down, I did want banana bread) So with a few tweaks, these bars were born! They taste like banana bread, but with more of a chewy brownie texture!

Chocolate Chip Banana Bars 🍌
-2 overripe bananas (Mashed. About 1c)
-½c salted butter (1 stick. Melted)
-1c brown sugar (lightly packed)
-1 egg
-1tsp vanilla
-1c flour
- 1/3 cup chocolate chips

-Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper, spray with nonstick spray.
-in a bowl, mix together the mashed bananas, melted butter, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla until well combined
-mix in flour
-fold in chocolate chips.
-pour into the prepared pan, and bake until the edges are golden. About 30 minutes.
-Cool, cut, + enjoy!
