The AUDACITY of me having caramel for breakfast on a Monday morning. Sometimes it just NEEDS to be done.
This caramel is more nutritious but still has that indulgent taste you get with caramel.
Recipe below 👇
40g oat flour 20g @awesomesupps vanilla 1tbsp flaxseed Pinch of sea salt 1/2 tsp baking powder (it didn’t rise so much so probably should have added 1 tsp) Sprinkle of cinnamon 50g mashed banana 100-120ml almond milk, stir till you get a cake batter consistency
Pour into bowl and top with a few extra banana slices, bake in an air fryer for 15 mins at 280 or 20-25 mins in the oven at the same temperature.
For the caramel mix one tbsp almond protein yog @nushfoods with 1/2 tbsp almond butter and a tbsp of maple syrup.
