Ingredients 1 pack ready-rolled puff pastry 6 tbsp tomato puree 3 tbsp mayonnaise 3 tbsp BBQ sauce 1/4 red bell pepper 25 g pepperoni slices, cut in quarters 75 g cheddar cheese + extra slices for the eyes Edible marker pen or food colouring Egg wash Instructions
Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F). Line a tray with baking paper. Cut pastry into circles and place on the tray. Spread with tomato puree, then a thin layer of mayo and BBQ sauce. Chop the pepper, slice the pepperoni, and grate the cheese. Add toppings to the pastry circles, leaving the edges clear. Cut leftover pastry into strips and drape over the tops to make mummy shapes. Press the edges down and brush with egg wash. Bake for about 15 minutes until golden, then cool slightly. Make the eyes with cheese circles and a dot of edible marker or food colouring. Place two on each mummy and serve.
