    Preparation Steps:

    Prepare the Brownie Batter: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper. In a mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and beat until well combined.

    Add Dry Ingredients: Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Stir the mixture until just combined; avoid over-mixing. Fold in half of the chocolate chips for extra richness.

    Bake the Brownie Layer: Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly.

    Layer with Caramel and Chocolate: Once the brownies have cooled a bit, pour the caramel sauce evenly over the top. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips over the caramel layer.

    Add Peanuts: Scatter the chopped roasted peanuts on top of the chocolate layer for a nice crunch.

    Set and Serve: Allow the brownies to cool completely, letting the chocolate set slightly for easier slicing. You can speed up the process by placing the pan in the fridge for 20-30 minutes. Once set, slice into squares and enjoy!
