My attempt to create a better version of the McDonalds classic. Did you know the quarter pounder is named a quarter pounder because the beef patty in the burger weights a quarter of a pound? 😁
Beef patties, cheddar cheese, ketchup, american mustard, white onions and pickles in a homebaked brioche bun.

Brioche rolls:
Go to “highlights” in my profile, then select “baking” for the recipe for brioche buns.
Smash burgers:
divide ground beef 18% fat or above in 110g balls and salt them, heat a skillet or griddle over medium high heat and smash a ball, flip after a minute, add cheese and cover and cook for another minute.
Pickles:
Add equal parts of vinegar and sugar to a pot and bring to a boil. Finely slice a cucumber. Add the slices to the vinegar and boil for one minute. set aside.
Chop the raw white onions finely and assemble your burger. Remember ketchup and mustard 🤤
