Golden Wheat Scones: Fluffy Delight with a Buttery Touch

You will need:
8 Cups whole wheat Cake Flour
12 Tsp Baking Power
2 Tsp Salt
2 cups sugar
500 g baking margarine
2 Cup Fresh cream or milk or buttermilk
4 large eggs, beaten

What to do:
Preheat the oven at 200°C.

In a large bowl, combine all the dry ingredients together and rub in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Whisk together fresh cream or milk or buttermilk and eggs and add 3/4 of the mixture to the dry ingredients, mix to form a soft dough if more liquid needed add the remaining egg mixture. (Do not over mix)

Place in a lightly floured work surface and roll into 2 cm think and cut with a cookie cutter.

Brush the tops of the Scones with the remaining egg mixture and bake for 12 - 15 minutes.
