Ingredients:
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

¼ tsp salt
1 cup buttermilk
2 large eggs
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp red food coloring
Butter or oil for cooking
Cream cheese glaze or syrup, for serving (optional)
Instructions:
Mix Dry Ingredients (5 mins): In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Combine Wet Ingredients (5 mins): In another bowl, whisk buttermilk, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and red food coloring until smooth.
