Chicken Sausage, Broccoli & Orzo Skillet

    1 cup orzo pasta

    4 chicken sausages, sliced into rounds

    2 cups broccoli florets

    2 tbsp olive oil

    2 cloves garlic, minced

    2 cups chicken broth

    ½ tsp dried oregano

    Salt & black pepper to taste

    Fresh lemon juice (optional, for brightness)

    Grated Parmesan (for garnish)

    Directions 👩‍🍳:

    Brown the Sausage: In a large skillet, heat olive oil. Sear sausage rounds until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.

    Sauté Broccoli & Garlic: In the same skillet, cook garlic until fragrant. Add broccoli and sauté for 2–3 minutes.

    Cook Orzo: Stir in orzo and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook for about 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally until orzo is tender and liquid absorbed.

    Combine: Add sausage back to the skillet and mix. Season with salt, pepper, and oregano.

    Serve: Squeeze in lemon juice if using, and top with Parmesan before serving.
