1 pound ground turkey 1/2 cup barbecue sauce 1/4 cup breadcrumbs 1/4 cup finely chopped onion 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon smoked paprika Salt and pepper to taste 8 slider buns 1 cup coleslaw (optional) Pickles for garnish (optional)
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, barbecue sauce, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined, but do not overwork the meat.
Form the mixture into 8 equal-sized patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Cook the turkey patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and are nicely browned.
While the patties are cooking, you can toast the slider buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
Assemble the sliders by placing a turkey patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with coleslaw and pickles if desired, then place the top half of the bun on each slider.
Serve immediately and enjoy the smoky, savory flavors of these delicious barbecue turkey sliders!
