Creamy Sausage Rigatoni

Ingredients 🛒:
12 oz rigatoni pasta
1 lb Italian sausage (casings removed)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 small onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup grated Parmesan
Salt & black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions 👩🍳:
Cook the Pasta: Boil rigatoni until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Cook the Sausage: In a skillet, heat olive oil and brown the sausage, breaking it into small chunks.
Add Aromatics: Stir in onion and garlic. Sauté until soft and fragrant.
Build the Sauce: Add tomato sauce and stir. Reduce heat, pour in cream, and simmer until thickened. Stir in Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
Combine & Serve: Toss in cooked rigatoni and mix well. Garnish with parsley and extra cheese.
