Spiced Mushroom Ramen

Ingredients
6 cups of water ⁣
1 onion
2 cups of mixed dried mushrooms ⁣
2 bay leaves ⁣
2 star anis seeds ⁣
4 cloves ⁣
2 garlic cloves, smashed ⁣
2 dehydrated chili peppers ⁣
3 inch piece of fresh ginger ⁣
2 tbs of soy sauce ⁣
Noodles of choice ⁣

Method
1. In a pot over medium heat, bring your water to a boil. ⁣
2. Optional: Meanwhile, in a cheese cloth, seal your spices,, peppers and garlic together. ⁣
3. Add your mixed dried mushrooms, sealed bag with spices, onion, ginger and soy sauce. ⁣
4. Cook for about 45 minutes. ⁣
5. If the broth evaporates below 4 cups of water, add water as needed. ⁣
6. Add your cooked noodles of choice ⁣
7. Garnish with your favorites! We used tofu and roasted corn! ⁣
8. Enjoy! ⁣
