That’s because tests have found glyphosate residues (Roundup weed killer linked to cancer) in many popular oats, mostly in conventional and non-organic brands. Tests found the MOST glyphosate in Quaker Old Fashioned Oats - more than 1,000ppb in a couple different samples. This chemical isn’t permitted to be used on organic oat crops.

RECIPE: Food Babe’s Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats
Ingredients (serves 2):
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup almond or coconut milk
1 apple, peeled and shredded
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1 scoop @Truvani protein powder
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
Directions:
1. Place all the ingredients in a jar and mix well to combine.
2. Place in the refrigerator overnight to set.
3. Serve with desired toppings.
