ingredients: 1 lb ground beef 1/2 yellow onion, diced 4 garlic cloves, minced 2 tbsp butter 1/2 box of lasagna noodles, broken 2 spoonfuls of tomato paste 1 jar of marinara sauce, 28 oz 1 box of beef broth, 32 oz 1/2 C heavy cream 1/4 c fresh parsley Parmesan cheese, small handful Mozzarella cheese, small handful Fresh Basil Salt Pepper Tony’s creole seasoning Red pepper flakes Paprika Italian seasoning Oregano Black pepper Adobo seasoning Cream mixture: Ricotta Parmesan Mozzarella Parsley
Directions: 1. In a big pot, on medium- low heat, add in your butter. Sauté your onion until translucent & toss in your garlic. Once garlic is fragrant, add in your ground beef. 2. Season your ground beef & cook until browned. Add in your 2 tbsp of tomato paste. Mix with your beef with tomato paste & cook for 3-4 mins before adding in your marinara sauce. 3. Once marinara comes to a simmer, add in your beef broth. Bring heat to med-high. Once your meat sauce comes to boil add in your lasagna pieces. Cover & let it cook for 6-7 mins 4. Toss in your heavy cream, with Parmesan & mozzarella cheese. Follow that with a second round of the same seasonings (a little less than before). Mix before adding in your fresh parsley & fresh basil. Cover for another 5 mins, let it simmer on low. 5. For ricotta mixture: in a small bowl add 2 parts ricotta, 1 part mozzarella & Parmesan. Add in fresh basil. Mix. 6. Serve your lasagna soup with ricotta mixture, garnish with parsley & Parmesan 7. Enjoy :)
